We have attempted to design this site to take all of the guess work out of the repair process. please let us know if any part of the site is unclear to you. We want to make it as painless as possible for you to send your repair to us. We at Old World Repair know your instrument is important and will treat it is as such from the time we first talk to you till the time you receive it back.

Our repair technicians are highly trained artisans. Old World instrument repair technicians look at all aspects of an instrument and assess its operational qualities to ensure, upon its completion, that the instrument is in the absolute best condition possible. Our artisans pay very close attention to details when working on your instrument.

Many shops tend to overlook certain parts of the repair process. They consider some operations that we perform on a routine basis redundant. NO PART of the repair of your instrument should simply be overlooked. We thoroughly examine the instrument and assess completely anything that might need to be done to put it into top-notch condition. We call with a complete estimate BEFORE we do any work so that you are not confused about what we are doing! When we are done with the repair your instrument is carefully pegged down so that no nothing changes during shipment. The instrument is then packed securely and returned to you in a timely manner.

What you should know before shipping your instrument.

Once Old World Repair is contacted about a repair and receive it we are vigilant about communication so you know where your instrument is in the process.
If we notice anything extra when working on your instrument we will call or notify you via Email for approval before we do any work that would normally raise repair cost.
We will call you when we are close to finishing the repair to continue the communication process. We will not ask for payment information until we are ready to send the intrument back to you.
Payments may be made by check or money order with the stipulation that the instrument is held until payment has cleared. We also accept payment via Paypal.
